Tomas Koprda★★★★★We found this local pub by chance a short distance from our hotel. We were in Edinburgh for 4 days and we ended every evening in this pub. There are many types of beer and many types of gin and whisky on offer. Very friendly service and pleasant environment created a very good atmosphere. Thank you very much for everything and I hope to come back here again soon.

Paddy O'Connell★★★★★Great historical old school pub dating from the 1890s with original fixtures and fittings. The serving area is in middle of the establishment effectively splitting the pub in middle - in the old days one half was the 'lounge' part used by the upper classes with the other half of the bar area frequented by the working class. Its now a listed pub and is not part of a chain. Has a great selection of cask ales and whiskey. The wine selection isn't bad either.
