My main reason for this post is for James behind the bar. What a character; always welcoming, always happy. And despite the fact he must see hundreds of faces every day, he still recognises my face. Even when it can be weeks at a time he sees me. To add to this, the environment and food is amazing. Especially the chicken wings. Highly recommend this place Great for student discount too.

Very friendly staff, good pub food and nice to sit either upstairs or downstairs. If very crowded food can take some while but you are told before!

First time visiting and stopped for some food. We shared the small plates and these were really tasty. Staff were great. Whoever is in charge of the playlist needs a raise! The seating arrangements are comfortable and TV screens showing sport are great. Only slight change was the music downstairs was a touch too loud, the upstairs was more chilled.
