Such an amazing place, definitely one to experience if you’re visiting Edinburgh. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I tried a few cocktails and every single one was delicious. The bartenders are great at giving recommendations so definitely take their advice. The atmosphere is lovely and the décor is really unique, makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. I also went with my dog and they were so kind to her, brought water and treats straight away which was such a nice touch. The bar is nice, although it's not the most beautifully decorated place. At first, it felt more like a pub than a cocktail bar, but the atmosphere gradually grew on us. We really enjoyed watching how the drinks were made, and they even have videos showing the process, which was a fun touch. The one thing we didn't appreciate was how rushed we felt. This Speakeasy is darling! The curated collection of cocktails are delicious. There are many to choose from and the bartender prepares each one to order. There are no pre made jugs of the “most popular cocktail”. The servers are quick and they are all making sure that everyone is happy. There is no food available. We made a reservation. We each had 2 cocktails.
