Will Reeves★★★★★Refurbished April 2026. New look with loads more space, more light and beautiful opening front windows. Offering food again - small menu of cooked snacks. Epic bacon sandwich and pie. Same wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Beer as great as ever.

For a very beer centric bar, she was hugely accommodating for our wishes for spritzes in the sun making us a whole 3 custom drinks, all of which were delicious. Having come before the refurbishment, I was not wholly convinced by the bar. However her service, as well as the friendliness of other colleagues at the bar despite it being such a busy day, has changed my mind completely. We will absolutely be back more regularly and I could not more wholeheartedly recommend the place. 10/10 recommend for anyone local or tourist.
Emilia Larsson★★★★★Me and my three girlfriends went here today, got ourselves some beer and in the half time of the rugby game we got a Scottish pie that was amazing. The bartenders were nice and we felt welcome. For us four Swedes it was a great visit. Recommend!
Ray Life★Shambles of a pub. Was in on Saturday 30th May. Around 11.30pm barman refused to serve anyone anymore drinks until a bunch of rugby student types left. Place was busy and super noisy. However I wasn't with these rugby students. I was drinking alone. Absolutely ridiculous way to run a pub. I wont be back EVER. You've lost my custom. Unbelievable
