Had a wonderful….and filling…lunch at Yes Sushi on Saturday past. Portion sizes were big and nicely presented. Flavours were authentic and fresh. Staff were warm and welcoming……special mention to our server Aril for his hospitality and determination to please. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we will return. CHEERS !!!

Got the lunch set meal and it was good value for money. For the appetisers I had pumpkin croquette, spring roll, and chicken skewers, and for the main I got the prawn tempura roll, along with miso soup. The food was good and filing. The lunch set is a great deal if you want to try a variety of appetisers in smaller portions.

My favourite sushi place whenever I am in Edinburgh. Portion sizes from the tasting menu were reduced little by little since it was first introduce a few years ago. Taste and quality is very consistant. Missed the hotpot that they used to have.

The manager of the place is very sweet, we bought drinks and she offered to change things up for us a little bit even though this is a restaurant and not a bar. The vibe of the place is very calm and peaceful with jazz music playing in the background. It’s very relaxing plus the food is very good. I haven’t tried any sushi here but tried chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu which was very good, plus the portions aren’t too overwhelming which is good especially if you’re not starving but simply hungry. Would come back again for sure :)
