We just happened by this place and saw a line. Looked at the sandwiches in the window and decided to try. We were very happy with our delicious sandwiches and sweets! I got the mortadella and my husband the ham and cheese. We also had a coconut passion fruit tart and Paris Brest. These fueled us for our wander through the Botanic Gardens and the Kelvingrove Museum. Highly recommend!!

Came here for brunch after many online recommendations. Ordered beetroot/hummus/harissa sandwich, butternut quiche, cardamom bun, green tea, and Palestine lime soda. Each tasted fresh, light, and tasty. Would have been nice to warm the quiche. Baked goods were very fresh, but nothing particularly unique/innovative. Very busy, so service was fast. Interior was convenient to sit, but for a short while as cold and not spacious. Total of around £20, which to me was fairly priced. Happy to have come here.

Quaint bakery along great western road. Don’t be surprised if the queue to the counter is all around the shop as that’s quite common for Cottonrake. Despite that, queue moves relatively quick and all of their bakes are worth the wait. My personal favourite is the white chocolate tart. So good!

Their seeded rye bread is the best bread you will find in this city. If you're German like me, the importance of that cannot be overstated. Been buying a loaf pretty much each week for 10 years now. Their baguettes are also by far the best of what I have tried in Glasgow. I can also recommend the pear tart, and their coffee is excellent.
