The service and atmosphere are spot on, and the food is great. We especially love the side soup always silky, smooth, and delicious. For food I usually go for the Turkish eggs, which are excellent, and I like that the ingredients change seasonally. Just a small note, on one occasion we ordered side soups for the table, but they were forgotten as it wasn’t written down. It wasn’t a big issue though, as the rest of the food was really good. 😊

Decent breakfast place. Good portions and delicious menu. The only thing sausage roll was served cold, I would appreciate if it was warmed up. Really good coffee, enjoyed my batch brew, as well as flat white. Attentive service Would deffinitely come again when in Glasgow

It was my second time visiting Cottonrake Cafe for breakfast/brunch. I ordered the Turkish eggs, banana bread on the side and black cherry kombucha. They were all fantastic! Not ridiculously priced, service was great (gave enough space to make your choice but didn’t make you wait too long to be served). They do have specials which the other tables beside me ordered which looked fantastic! Must try when you’re in Glasgow

Cottonrake Cafe was a really good experience. It’s a small café with decent seating. I tried their pork and onion sausage roll, which was okay. The plain croissant and coffee were quite good, and the almond croissant was my absolute favourite. The taste and texture were excellent.
