I went there on a Sunday to have lunch & I really enjoyed it. I picked the gammon steak, with all the trimmings, the gammon was really nice, juicy as for the chips some of the best I had in a long time. To finish off I had the crumble with custard & that was heaven. The staff was friendly & helpful (sorry I didn't get their name), they done the bar & serve the food. The atmosphere is good but I think it can get quite busy, I was lucky it wasn't that busy while I was there.

Stopped off for a drink and light lunch on a Saturday. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Food and drinks came quickly. Food was good - especially the halloumi fries!

Called in today with the parents, We have had a really good afternoon. The food was amazing Kudos to the flynn. Quick and efficient service from Shane & Marc And the parents loved the open fire. Also introduced the dad to a Shankys whip. YES YES I know it just looks like a half of Guinness but the shot inside makes it a Shankys whip 😊

I love visiting the Black Bull. It is my go to place with my grandson after school. We play some of the games and have food. I feel I needed to put pen to paper this time because the young man who was in was fabulous. When we arrived he informed us that food wouldn’t be available until 5, due to the pub had been open until the early hours due to the England game. I said that was no problem at all, we were not in a hurry. However he came over about 30mins later to say it was quiet so he would cook our food. He was so lovely with my grandson and is a credit to your organisation. His name is Kier
