I’ve mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the recent refurbishment looks great, the atmosphere is brilliant on game days, and they have plenty of HD screens showing the live sport. It’s exactly what you want from a lively local community hub. On the other hand, the kitchen and floor service really struggled during our visit. We waited an absolute age for our food to come out, and when it did, the pub classics were disappointing. The burgers were incredibly dry, the chips were lukewarm, and the pizzas looked rushed. It felt like they didn't have enough staff on to handle a busy evenin

What a great bar. Great selection of fine wines. Fine dining at its best. They must have Gourmet chefs. The food is so tasty. As I have just been released from a Secure Mental Health Unit i was guided here by the Good Lord

The pub has a generally friendly atmosphere and the staff are polite, but the overall experience was disappointing. The food was only average and didn't quite live up to expectations, and the service, while courteous, felt slow at times. It's an okay place for a drink, but there are better options nearby.

Absolutely love this pub! Has a great family friendly atmosphere, everyone’s really friendly, staff are always willing to go above & beyond & the food is amazing, especially the new menu! Visited last night & ordered the lamb shank & WOW, it fell off the bone, melted in my mouth & was just full of flavour. I’d be eating there every night if I could.
