I feel very positively when I stepped into the restaurant. I believe nearly all the shop front servers are Thai☺️ that made me think this could be really authentic. Unfortunately, expectations and reality are not aligned. Food flavors are intense/salty which made us super thirsty. The green curry is truly a miss😔, very soupy, not fragrant, ingredients are not quite right (no aubergine, very little coconut milk, not much herbs, chicken very bland…) Service is minimal, so not thai🥺😢😭 We finished our bottle of wine and bottle of sparkling water, but we are nearly done so did not order more

Popped in here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised that they had a vegan menu. The food was average and service was ok, I had stir-fry and ginger rice which was lacking flavour, my daughter had a curry which tasted good. Not sure I'll be back...

I’ve been eating here since my student days, and Ramwong is still one of my must-visit places whenever I’m back in Guildford 🤍 It’s the kind of place that helps me recharge and makes me miss Thailand a little less 😂 Authentic Thai food, comforting flavours, and incredibly generous, friendly staff 🥰 It always feels like a small taste of home away from home. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real Thai food in the UK 🇹🇭❤️

I had a Prawn Pad Thai I think, which I always order at Thai restaurants so that I can compare them but for some reason I don’t have a photo. Their Pad Thai was good but it came premixed already. Sometimes restaurants still leave some mixing for the diner to do, which I like. But it tasted good so that’s what was important. I enjoyed the flower tea. I’m not sure if it was chrysanthemum tea but it was very nice. I can’t remember what everyone else ordered because this was a few weeks ago. I have had better textured fish cakes in the past at different places (in SE Asia) but these were ok. No
