What has happened? We’ve been coming here for years. It’s always been our favourite. It has plummeted in a very short space of time. No alcohol license now. Two very pushy ladies at front of house I’ve never seen before. Tables on the ground floor. We (just two of us) were taken to the top floor where absolutely no one else was. And it was freezing cold. Arctic blasts hitting you as you climbed the stairs. Delicious food, great service, good prices, highly recommend! Cobra on tap, v good poppadoms / chutney selection, starters amazing (get the garlic tandoori prawn), naan bread best in town, curries v fresh and flavoursome and good portion size for price, service attentive but not pushy - we had beers and poppadoms whilst we decided on food which we really liked. Atmosphere really nice, building is beautiful.
