I stopped in for a cup of tea and ended up staying longer than I planned. Cafe Babka has a cozy, welcoming feel and a wonderful view overlooking the British Museum. Looking around, you see a little bit of everyone: tourists resting their feet, academics buried in conversation or a book, artists sketching or working, and locals just enjoying their day. It feels like the kind of place where people naturally gather. The service was genuinely friendly, and they have a great selection of both teas and coffees.
