Excellent food..freshly cooked..no food sitting around. Was not expensive. Was busy last week, no seats available that's at lunchtime. It was home cooked food. Dall rice, pakora kadhi, lambchops was worth every penny. We were both so pleased we had eaten fresh hot food after long day shopping.

The customer service here is poor. The uncle at the till is incredibly unfriendly and abrupt, showing no warmth to customers or staff. A bit of hospitality goes a long way, and without it, this place will struggle to keep customers. ​Unfortunately, the food wasn't much better. I ordered chicken pulao (see the photo where i have removed the food), but it was soaking in oil and the chicken was very "wet." I was craving desi Pakistani naashta and stumbled on this place not expecting much. But, it really did surprise me in the best possible way. The service was so kind, welcoming and lovely, which is not often seen on ilford lane. The restaurant was packed, which gave it a good ambience. We ordered the halwa poori thali, which came with two puris, achaar, chole, halwa, Shahi naan and Aloo salan. We also got nehari, which came with two naan and also an omelette on the side. Restaurant Review: Chaat and Grill We tried Chaat and Grill and ordered Karahi Chicken and Nehari. The naan was complimentary, and we added two more. The food portions were big, which was nice, but the taste was just okay — nothing extraordinary. It’s fine to eat once, but not something I’d go back for. The staff were polite and friendly, and the environment was good and comfortable. Overall: Decent experience, but mainly average food. The lady from nepal she surved us very well very pleasent with her generosity.
