After an absolutely awful experience at a restaurant across the road called Prime, Steak & Seafood, we arrived at River Grill feeling disappointed, frustrated, and still very hungry. From the moment we walked through the door, the difference was night and day. Despite arriving soaked from the pouring rain, the staff immediately welcomed us with genuine warmth, kindly taking our dripping wet coats and making us feel comfortable straight away. We were looked after from the very beginning, with our drinks order taken promptly and every member of staff treating us with professionalism and kindnes

too tried after a long walk so just step in this restaurant by the Ness Bank. The other reason was it is around £15 for a set lunch. The waiter was not so friendly and quite impatient. There is another one around the corner which is just £1 to £2 more for better looking decor and better looking pizza as we saw it from the window.

It was our 1st visit in Inverness, we're trying to find place for dinner but most of them were reserved for big groups of tourists so we decided to go to River Grill. Food was surprisingly good and tasty 😋 Waiter was asking all the time if everything is ok , do we need anything else.

I’ve order Tea and Fish n Chips. The taste is good for me. The portion is not big but enough to make me full all day. Nothing strange with the fish and chips like other reviewers said. Perhaps they have improved. The price is good.. it’s a bit cheaper than others but still its pricey because of its location.
