I was down from Scotland with my beautiful Wife as she needs to appear in Hull Court as a Victiim for a horrible evil sexual abuse case tomorrow My Wife raved about Bob Carver's throughout our 10 year relationship in Scotland so of course as any Husband would do just to get the peace we tried it today with my Son in Law From the minute I arrived I was already in love the smell was beautiful made me instantly hungry The young handsome man and gorgeous young beautiful Lady that looked after us were fantastic so friendly helpful and just really really decent lovely people The Food is to die f

Had a day out recently to Hull and wanted fish and chips. I sat inside because I didn't wanted a takeaway. The whole meal was very, very greasy, the fish overcooked, the chips looked like they were cooked in dirty old oil! I did not and could not finish it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Discusting food the chips were so oily no taste and really fattening. The fish was overcooked and was served with too much oil. I asked the staff is this how you cook your fish and chips they rudely replied yes. I had food poisoning afterwards and threw up badly. Never again rude service and oily foods. I would give it 0 stars on everything to be honest.

Ordered cod and chips plus Haddock and Chips for my friend, pot coffee me and tea for him Fish was decidedly watery and batter fairly tasteless but the actual fish was quite nice big flakes. Really bad was receiving two very very dirty spoons with the drinks, which while mistakes happen, it was so obvious it shouldn't have Didn't get anywhere near enough milk and tomato sauce wasn't available as standard and when supplied wasn't really enough for two meals. Restaurant was pretty clean but dismal. Minimal decoration other than of photos relating to the business. Service was brusk without m
