We should of been at the other Toby in Doncaster, but due to a function on there we came to this one in Edenthorpe instead. We were welcomed by the staff, and shown to a table promptly. Our drinks order was taken, and a side order of pigs in blankets done while we queued for the carvery deck. The chef was friendly & jolly, which was really nice to see. It looks like there were quite a few regular customers he recognised and took the time to speak with which is a nice touch. The chef gave good cuts of meat, and a couple of yorkies too. Had a great experience here. The service was amazing from two members of staff who really went above and beyond to help us. Their names were Freya & Elise. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was sorted quickly and with a smile. Their helpful attitude made the whole visit much more enjoyable. It’s rare to get service that genuinely stands out, but they both did exactly that. Would definitely come back again.

Stopped off yesterday for lunch, was greeted by a lovely lass who took us to a nice table, a nice young lad came and took our drinks orders, we loaded up with extra large carvery's, wonderful food, I had gammon, beef and turkey, all beautifully cooked, awesome roast tatters, creamy mash etc all smothered in succulent gravy, I ate the lot, just what was need for our 4 hour journey back to Cumbria.
