I visited the Leicester branch of Giggling Squid for lunch and left feeling very disappointed. We ordered two set lunches, which included red curry, jasmine rice, spring rolls, dumplings, roasted duck, with extra salt and pepper squid. Unfortunately, the food didn’t feel particularly authentic 😬 the flavours were quite one-dimensional, leaning more towards salty and spicy rather than the balanced profile you’d expect from Thai cuisine. After a long afternoon of shopping (not me, the missus) I decided to feed her before midnight to prevent Gremlins. A gorgeous spot serving Thai Food. I loved the interior, it was so pretty and I loved the decor. I got a sharing platter to share, it was a lovely Platter and I could lowkey eat it all. For mains, I ordered the Seafood which included Crispy Squid, Sea Bass, Garlic Prawns and fresh Mussels. The Seafood was lovely and fresh.
