I have eaten at four San Carlo restaurants many times over the years. Birmingham since it open in the 1990s, Leicester, Manchester and Bristol. However, I have always preferred Leicester as they consistently offer a luxury food experience with excellent customer care. My favorite dish in recent years as been the Tagliolini Lobster which has declined in portion size especially at Manchester and Birmingham where it is more like a starter than a main course. Calming, luxury experience with a great vibe. The servers went above and beyond and were great with any modifications made to the dishes. It’s definitely a great spot for date nights, family meals or celebrations with its 5* quality. Highly recommend.
