Delicious. After some book shopping on Cecil Ct, my family decided to relax and have lunch. I had the steak & ale pie that was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted. Parents also loved their fish and chips. I had gotten the dessert special- a passionfruit tarte with blackcurrant sorbet and it was excellent. It wasn’t too loud inside and the service was wonderful.

We stayed above The Salisbury in St Martin’s Court for the weekend and visited the bar with it being just underneath on both Friday and Sunday. Both times the bartender Mariam was an absolute standout — despite clearly being busy she made time for us every single visit with a smile and impressive speed. The Salisbury itself is a stunning Victorian pub full of charm and character, with a warm and friendly team to match. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good Victorian pub with a charming vibe and a decent beer selection. The staff were very attentive and the service was pretty fast. The only thing that was a bit strange was that part of the pub - the upstairs area - was closed and roped off on a busy Saturday early evening.
