Richard Wakefield★★★The Grey Horse Inn is a perfectly reasonable small pub (it seems even thinner from the outside). A mixed crowd (from drunken pub golfing youngsters to civilised old boys), robust service and local beer on tap - what more do you need? Cozy.

John Carr (Corinne and John)★★★★★Very good small Hydes pub about ten minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I visited including a ruby ale. Small outside smoking area to the rear. Not too busy after the Spurs game at the Etihad!
