Finding this place via google maps I was more than happy with every aspect. My stop was for Sunday lunch which was exceptional. Ruby, my waitress looked after every aspect of the stay and had a smile at every step of the way

I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this pub. A member of our group, who has a learning disability, was refused entry for being ‘too drunk’, when explained his issues and imbalances still refused him entry without any clear explanation or attempt to make adjustments. Especially considering this pub is well known to very inebriated people. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. The way this was handled left us feeling very upset and excluded, and was quite frankly discriminatory. Businesses that serve the public especially when in the City Centre should ensur

Another traditional old style pub done up sympathetically in a shabby chic style. I liked that they have kept some of the original features such as tiles, wooden floors, and brickwork. Surprisingly big with 3 floors, worth a visit if you're around that area.
