Adam Monks★I wouldn’t normally leave a review, however as a manager within the hospitality industry myself, I feel this pub genuinely needs some constructive feedback to help it improve. Unfortunately, the food fell well below an acceptable standard. The gravy was extremely watery and overly salty. The cauliflower cheese wasn’t cheesy at all and appeared undercooked – the cauliflower was rock hard, sitting in watery milk with paprika sprinkled on top rather than a proper cheese sauce. David Newman★★★★★Blaina Wharf is a great place to eat. Nice food always well cooked and lots of choice. The steak and ale pie with chips and The Beef and Lamb Shish Kebab are my favourite meals. My favourite barman is Alex who is always very welcoming and friendly to talk too. Me and partner eat here every week and it is in the perfect location not far from my work place. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone.
Tony Phipps★★★★We visited 19.30 Saturday and opted for the carvery - but the meat was definately past its best, as were the vegetables and what was left of the mash (scraped from the edges off the pot)... should this be expected at the end of service, or should we expect the same quality as the first person at the carvery at midday, paying the same price ?! The carvery server looked like they had had enough too. We feel it should have been removed as an option when the quality fell below the required standard. The jaffa pudding was very nice - as was the beer ! The other staff were friendly and helpful.

My friend and I tried to order off the app first - it didn't have the dish we wanted that was on the paper menus. We went up to the bar to order and they ran through the incorrect dish and when it was queried before being paid for they acted like it was irrelevant they had put a different order through and had to be persuaded to change it.
