The pizza was lovely, but the price, £19?? For a pizza?? It was waffa thin to. My wife said that her Connelloni was great but is it worth £18?? We had to ask one of the staff to close the door, the waiting guest where holding it open whilsts waiting to be seated, it was freezing.

I came here for some birthday lunch back in November, we ordered 2 pizzas and 2 desserts and some drinks and we were very pleased with what we ordered and the price for all of it too! The pizzas were a great size and were very tasty. It wasn’t too busy as it was lunch time on a Wednesday and the gentleman who served us in the striped white and black t shirt was amazing and very friendly. I recommend the BBQ pizza! Oh and we got doughballs for a starter of course 😉

I’ve always liked Pizza Express in the past, but my recent visit was a real let-down. First, the portion sizes are shockingly small for the price. I ordered a pizza, pasta and lasagna, and the pasta arrived looking like children’s portion, yet the bill was anything but cheap. It felt overpriced for what little we actually got. The biggest issue, however, was the smell inside the restaurant. There was a heavy, stale cooking odour hanging in the air the entire time we were there. Not gonna lie, it's basically a Wetherspoons pizza. And that's not necessarily a bad thing, but for somewhere that only does pizza, you'd expect a bit more. Especially at the price. I guess that's actually a compliment for Wetherspoons. I did go for the thin crust though-maybe that's on me, or maybe it's on them for serving up something that was all flop and no crisp.
