Stumbled across this by accident when trying to get photos of the harbour and decided to try it for dinner. Very glad we did. Atmosphere was brilliant and it was very dog friendly - blankets and water bowls provided. Menu wasn't extensive but I'm sure there is something for everyone. The food was really good but a couple of things to note - some of it was unnecessarily spicy - prawn cocktail for example. The pate was a bit too salty. The seafood platter was huge. Would have been nice to have been warned how big it was. Great atmosphere and the decor upstairs is really well done.

We only popped in for a pint, but the pub is beautiful, views were amazing! We felt so welcomed when we came in, the guy working downstairs was so funny and attentive. Our pup was treated like a little princess, blanket, treats and fuss galore. If we're in the area again, will definitely go back 😊

Lovely food and great service. I ordered fish and chips and the portions were massive. There was a lot of fish in it, not just pure batter. My husband and daughter ordered a burger. It tasted delicious but the burger was a bit smaller than expected for its price. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Overall experience was good. Plenty of seats available too and they let you choose where you would like to sit unlike other places that are very particular, especially if you have a little one. Recommend 👍

First time visiting the Harbour Light in Paignton, and to be honest not disappointed. We've moved from Plymouth and one of our locals was the Waterfront, also a St Austall brewery. So we had an idea of the standard and we were right. A great venue, great food and reasonable prices. The staff, friendly and professional. Would we go again, yes, this time we're a party of 5 and all booked on. See you soon 😁
