You cannot fault this place. Linda, Hamish and staff are tremendous. There's never an issue. Unsure what to have how a bout a wee mix of this and that. Mini platters the lot. Never an empty glass. Always attentive from start to finish. Love this place and always warm and welcoming. The restaurant is old in the way it feels like a Chinese restaurant as opposed to a modern shell dressed down. Place is a diamond and has been going for years!!!

Visited here today, after reading some reviews. The food was on the table in less than 5 minutes, which is always a worry. We ordered fillet steak in peking sauce. The dish we were served was NOT fillet steak. Tough and tasteless and we sent it back. The waiter agreed it was very tough but stopped short of agreeing that it was NOT fillet steak. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken. The dish we were served had pieces of chicken as big as a fist. After working in kitchens, my guess is the chicken was delivered to the restaurant already cooked, then dipped in batter and cooked again. This would

Went last week and had the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had! The staff were all lovely and made such an effort. Our food was out within 5 minutes. Great portions too so we had extra to take home! Highly recommend, already thinking about when I can come back

I deeply yearned for a great Chinese restaurant here in Scotland, and I found it here. There is an upscale elegance and thoughtfulness to the atmosphere and the presentation, but the prices are quite reasonable. I particularly recommend the soups, which have this flavorful hardiness to them that reminds me of much of the food I ate in Hong Kong. Above all, one gets the sense that the staff and management genuinely care about this restaurant, that they want to make it a sophisticated and serene place, that they are deeply committed to every element of the dining experience.
