We popped in here for a drink after a long walk along the riverbank. It’s a very pleasant place—the interiors are clean and spacious, and the outdoor seating area is lovely. Even though it can host a lot of guests at once, you can still have a quiet conversation and enjoy the fresh air. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The new continental Sunday dinner is the best I have ever had. The portion size was just right. I chose the lamb, which melted in my mouth. The vegetables were not over cooked, they still had a slight crunch. As most places have soggy veg! They have a great range of alcohol and soft drinks choice, with plenty of food and snacks to choose of their menu. We arrived with no booking, they had a table available within 2 two hours time, so we walked around Avenhum park until our table was ready. First visit to Preston and The Conti for a while and it didn't disappoint. We travelled over for brunch and the menu offered a tempting selection. I plumped for Shakshouka which was very tasty and came with well baked flat bread. The service was nice and prompt and the background music just right. The venue has a nice flow to it with a choice of areas (although many tables were reserved on the Sunday of our visit). If you're a dog lover you won't be disappointed as there were lots of well behaved pooches present. My only minor negative was the coffee was a little on the small side and not
