“Market price cod” scribbled onto the board for £9 on its own - fair enough for quality… But such a shame! The chips and sauces were brilliant, but the price of the fish for the size is a bit silly. Can’t imagine what a small fish and chips looks like. Steak and ale pie, again, very nice pastry and gravy (like a GNP) but such a small about of meat in there.

Fantastic fish and chips, just as I remember them! Available gluten free which is wonderful for me as I have a wheat allergy. Fresh and absolutely delicious; we'll be back!

Disappointed, so much so I had to post the review before I ate. Place has seriously gone down hill since expansion. Was looking forward to fish and chips so drove across town and ordered 2 haddocks Got home, opened the box and found 2 of the smallest portions of fish I’ve had, there’s more batter than fish, not sure if I was given the wrong box or given a small portion as looking at the pass the fish looked good, perhaps those are for other customers I’m not sure. Only positive was the large chips were a good portion so filled us up. But I didn’t go for chips with fish. Won’t be returning,

This is my favourite chippy in the area. Great choices for vegetarians and great value for money. We love the deep fried halloumi and the pea fritters! Everything can be cooked in vegetable oil. The staff are lovely and you can see how hard they all work to create great food. You can also get a cheeky drink whilst you wait
