What a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant this is! You won't get low quality pub grub here but a really good quality meal served up in a really comfortable friendly atmosphere. You'll need to phone in advance if you haven't booked a table as food this good and reasonably priced is popular. However if you go early you can usually get a table. The portion size is fair so you won't be disappointed here. My favourite Italian restaurant. La Romantica never disappoints. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is always warm and lively. Marco and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming and make you feel valued every time you visit. The food is consistently delicious and their tribute nights are great fun. It’s clear to see why they’ve been established for so many years. A real local gem and well worth visiting.

I booked a table last Friday for the start of my 40th birthday celebrations! I can honestly say this was one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. From the time I initially made the booking to the time we left on Friday night, the whole experience couldn't have been any better! All of the staff were brilliant, very attentive and made us feel thoroughly welcome. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic!
