Recently, my friends and I had a wonderful evening at Beefeater Romford, and we were absolutely delighted! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and professional. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We ordered the Fish & Chips, and it was simply magnificent! Average as you can get the atmosphere average the food average the only thing that wasn't average was the price far to expensive for what we got. Our waitress was lovely but they was clearly understaffed there were people at other tables complaining about how long they was waiting for there food which luckily wasn't something we had to worry about but we might have gotten our food fast but it was Lukewarm and I had asked for my steak to be medium rare which it wasn't. The food tasted fine nothing special not worth the price I probably won't be coming back.

I would not ever go to this restaurant again in my life. The staff are ignorant and abusive towards customers. The apparent floor manager was walking around telling people a chef has gone home as his dad is dying in hospital and telling customers that she doesn't care if they have to wait. Took a hour and 30 mins to get my apparent medium cooked fillet stake that was more like a old chewed welly boot. It then took 30 mins for this so called manager to come over and ask if I want it re cooking or something else. The food came back out another 35 mins later and this time it was bloody raw and lo

We went out for a meal. Service was great and so the food. I had fish and chips, my friend steak and chips and my other friend vegetarian lasagne. All was done in generous portions, we all had pudding. They were delicious and generous as well. The three of us also had drinks. The bill was very good, about 30 pounds each including a tip for our waitress who was friendly and attentive.
