Another pub i had no idea existed, but now I'm glad I do. Beautiful building right by the canal, huge beer garden hidden from the busy roads, bit of a suntrap too. Plenty of seating inside as well (loved the tall chairs inside, very funky). Food was great, my partner had a burger and it looked delicious. I had the salad with cauliflower which I thought was quite bland but probably my fault for picking a salad 😅 I particularly liked the choice of non-alcoholic drinks (although I did have a prosecco as well in the end 😁). It was very busy so didn't mind waiting for the drinks and food. Staf

Had a great evening at The Kings Ransom! The place has such a nice, cozy vibe. had a lovely hot chocolate and pints of Guinness — both perfect! Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. A great spot to chill out by the water and enjoy a quiet drink. Definitely coming back again! 🍺☕

Had a lovely time here with my guests from Germany. The atmosphere was fantastic and the beers were absolutely excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which really made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back

Absolutely had a brilliant valentines night meal. It was hot nicely presented and was cooked to perfection. I had the ketso chicken curry and my husband had the chicken and ham pie. Both meals looked good. The music was brilliant. Great atmosphere definitely would eat here again. The staff were all helpful and there wasn't much of a wait at the bar to be served even though it was busy. 10/10
