The pub was like an oasis from the cold -- it was warm, bright and cheerful, made all the more pleasant by its relaxed vibe (even though it's busy), lovely and thoughtful staff, and friendly customers. We ordered their mulled wine and it was one of the best ones I've tried recently. It was so good that we bought another round. The guy manning the mulled wine preparations told us on our second order that it wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. But we made up our minds that we wanted another round so he said he'd let us

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent. We’ve eaten here several times and the food has always been really good.
