Best bar in Croydon! Bar staff and manager were lovely, drinks were reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The toilets were pristine, my wife said they were the best smelling toilets she’s seen! Highly recommend.

Having learnt from last week’s experience we turned up on time for our 2pm reservation and was not disappointed! 😀🎉 Stephanie (hope I spent her name correctly 🙈) greeted us upon arrival, escorted us to our table and we got our roasts which were awesome 😋 I strongly recommend the lamb 🐑 The apple crumble deserves a visit on its own, what a dessert! However for my personal preference a double serving of custard would be perfection but that just me. I dare you to have it 😀 To quote Arnie… “I’ll Be Back” 🤣

So having ordered the burgers on Uber Eats the family & I decided we’ll visit to explore the roasts. Arriving fashionably late (16:00) 🙈 we ordered and was informed moments after that the roasts were finished 😭 so we settled for the alternatives. The batter was oily/salty for my personal preference but I did enjoy the haddock and the chips were banging. The staff made up for our loss with deserts and we’ve booked a table for the future 😀

Excellent roast dinner. Everything cooked to perfection. I had the beef and the missus had the chicken. Both were beautiful. Great portions, great service. Can’t fault it tbh. A slightly bigger portion and you would’ve got 5 ⭐️. Either way I left feeling full and satisfied.
