Top service from front of desk they allowed us to check in slightly early as the room was available. Little things like this make a difference. The room was on the larger size, the bed was really comfy. It was a shame the shower screen is short and allows water to exit the shower/bath area and leave a damp smell. The hotel is near the centre of the St Helen's and the Rugby Stadium. We used the leisure facilities they were clean and of good quality.

We stayed for a family wedding and had a very positive experience overall. Despite some initial issues with the booking, these were handled professionally and efficiently by the General Manager, Daniel Stewart. He was extremely accommodating, approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. Practical arrangements were put in place which made a real difference on the day and allowed us to relax and enjoy the celebration. The wedding itself went very smoothly, and the bride and groom were very happy, which is what matters most. Thank you to the team for their efforts.

Disappointing break. Booking was for two rooms for two nights. On check in the male behind reception was wearing a coat so wasn’t sure that they were member of staff. Gave us paperwork and asked us to write the names on each sheet as to who was staying in which room. Both forms were in our daughter’s name and not ours (we had made the booking). Was asked to write the name of the person staying in the room on each form but then handed two keys which were then not married up with the forms we had just complete. No details given regarding breakfast ie did we want to book/pay for breakfast et

Lovely staff, very spacious. spotlessly clean rooms and huge comfortable beds. The staff were also so friendly and helpful. I simply cannot understand some of these negative remarks, especially around the food. I suspect they may be competitors. We had dinner there and enjoyed a copious breakfast - with a gluten free table. Lots of fresh fruit and veg too. If I were to give one criticism. it would be the fact that the TV in the dining room blares out eighties music constantly...at night and even at breakfast
