The food was really good, specifically the steak and ale pies. The beer selection was good and they were nice and cold too. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, which made it easy to sit back and enjoy the meal. Overall, a great spot with a nice balance of good food, good service, and a pleasant vibe.

Came here with a Bus Tour group for a group dinner…….Being a retired chef, expectations were not set too high….. How wrong was I, the meal was outstanding, Roast beef, Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes (crunchy), roasted carrot and parsnip steamed long stem broccoli…..coupled with homemade tasty Jus.. Beef thinly sliced medium-rare oh so tender and flavoursome. Vegetables cooked perfectly… Followed with a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream…Could not fault anything even drinks were reasonably priced….. Congratulations on a job well done 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
