Nice little treat out. Food was fantastic, though a word of warning, the shepards pie is HOT but delicious. Only reason I put 4 stars for food was the tinned custard (not that I would complain about that, I like tinned custard) otherwise everything was great. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice place, we loved the decor and showing the history of the building as a fire station. It was match day but we were fine to get in for lunch time. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was good. I had a fish finger sandwich with chunky fries and my partner had the burger with chunky fries. The only downside of my food was the curry sauce which was just so runny it was like water! However everything else we had was tasty.

We booked a table for 11.45, which we did not really need to do, for such an early time. But it is highly recommended to do so if you are going to see a show at the empire, which is about 1 to 2 minutes' walk. The service was really warm and friendly. We both had the fish and chips that came with mushy peas and a small jug of curry sauce and small pot of tartar sauce. The chips were good, as were the peas and curry sauce, I did not try the tartar sauce. I thought the fish was very nice with a light and crispy batter. The only thing that spoilt the fish was, on a personal note, that too much sa
