Truly a wonderful experience. I reserved a table for 7 a few hours before and they were able to fit us in. It was cosy and really made the restaurant feel homely. The staff were amazing, always had a smile and always very nice - we felt very welcome. The food was lovely, plenty of flavour and the portion sizes were good, very filling. I'll definitely come back and try out some more of their menu. I stopped here for dinner last Friday while staying in Taunton, and I was very impressed. The lady cooking/serving was very friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for my visit. The food was hot, vibrant and fresh, like a plate full of sunshine that warmed me from the core of my soul. I had the curried goat with rice n peas, extra portion of jerk pork and a side of plantain. My only gripe would be that they don't do dumplin to mop up all the great tasting sauce. Still, food was banging and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
