We were there on Tuesday 16/06. Arrived at 630pm and asked for a table in the dining area to be told the entire dining area is reserved for a quiz night. We sat in another part of the pub and ate a mediocre meal. I ordered my steak to be cooked rare, it arrived well done. When staff did the usual thing of asking if everything was OK with the food, I mentioned my steak was overdone to which she offered a replacement. I declined because by the time that arrived the other members of our group would have finished their meals and stated it shouldn't be necessary if the chef knew what they were doi

Don't bother stopping & keep on driving. I had an hour to kill & I wish I had stuck with my own advice at the start of the review. The service was very poor and all the locals got looked after first. The atmosphere had that underlying feeling of a local pub that didn't like people just turning up for a drink or something to eat. As for the food, I was going to order something but decided I didn't want to spend the night on the toilet. Had a look at the menu & the food reminence that was stuck to it reassured me that not ordering food was the best decision of the day. Personally I would suggest

I really enjoyed my breakfast here! Plenty on my plate & Vegetarian...also Vegan options! Nice place for brunch, & you can charge your car next door.
