I'd heard good things from quite a few people about this shop, so thought I'd try it out. I popped in for some Samosa and Spring Rolls, and assorted sweets. Amongst the various types of barfi, I took home Lemon, Pistachio, Mango, Coconut, Chocolate, Khoya, & Cherry. There was also room for Gajrela and Chum Chum. The Spring Rolls and sweets were all about as good as most other good local sweet centres, nothing really stand-out. My Mum and I have used this place for years for good reasons. Like us they are authentic vegetarian punjabi. Samosas are nearly as good as my Mum's (have to say that), excellent selection of other punjabi munch and well made Indian sweets. The owners are wonderful and so welcoming. I might live in Worcester now but when I visit my Mum, we nearly always have our little Bassi fix. We have bought for family and friends from here for such a long time and always, happy faces.
