We had such a great meal here. They’ve been a local Whitstable family run restaurant for over 35 years and it shows. It was quite busy quite early, but the one server handled everything with calm and personality. It never felt rushed or harried. The food was delicious and the atmosphere charming. The one drawback was the phone ringing endlessly as our poor server was there all alone. Would have prefered she shut the ringer off though!

Really nice welcome even though I didn't reserve a table. Walking can still eat here at the bar. I had the lobster and crab bisque. It tasted lovely and just the moderate portion I appreciated. The staff were helpful and aware of the Town and places of interests were recommended but not apart of the service. The atmosphere is calm and mature. What a gem of a place! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the loveliest ladies who make you feel right at home. The place itself is gorgeous, with beautiful décor that adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing—so fresh and full of flavor. I had the lobster soup, mussels, oysters, and a Whistable mess dessert, and every single bite was delicious. You can really taste the quality. What makes it even better is the price—it’s very, very good considering the level of food and service you get. Honestly, everything about this place is just wonderful. Highl

Came here with my boyfriend last night and the food was to die for! The beef wellington was delightful but surprisingly, the star of the show was the vegetables that came with it. The staff were friendly and attentive, special thanks to the waitress who answered our questions. We would definitely come back and would recommend booking for those who are interested in visiting.
