We came here for our anniversary and had a really lovely experience. Can definitely recommend the Sunday set menu. All of the food was delicious - the dishes were a mix of creative and different, but also traditional and hearty. Service and atmosphere were great too. They added candles to our dessert and wished us a happy anniversary, which was a really sweet touch. Would love to come back here again.

This has become one of our favourite local spots to dine with friends and family. The food is of high quality with changing menu and a solid Sunday roast. Service is great (thank you Bradley x2). We went to the black lamb for a celebration meal and it was ok but felt so things could be improved for the price point. The setting is inside is lovely and cosy, but would say some of the tables are placed a little too close together. They also used paper napkins rather than linen - which didn’t really align with the price point of the meal. We opted for the beef wellington set menu. The beef wellington main was really delicious, but we had a slight issue when we asked if it came with any vegetables and was told no and so added on some seasonal greens.
