I just have walked past Rossini dozens of times over the years but we didn’t dine there until now Rossini gives you a real Italian experience, from the decor, the service and certainly the food Our starters were lovely, a rich minestrone soup, a chicken liver pate and a carpaccio. We found the pate to be surprisingly good My main of beef fillet pieces cooked in red wine, cream and mushrooms didn’t disappoint- the plate was wiped clean Their puddings are served the old way on a trolly, you get to choose what you want with rich choices Speaking about rich choices, there are a lot of options

Recommended by lots of locals in Wokingham. Now as a local myself, I can definitely recommend with confidence. However if you want to experience a full ambience, dinner will be better than lunch. The portion is MASSIVE. And people who work there is very passionate and funny. Old decoration vibe, small space but you don’t feel packed. Really good Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant in town!! This evening we were with friends who wanted to try out this restaurant for months. It’s important to point out that In the past we have always had great food here. However, not sure if it was very busy or there is a new chef because tonight we were all disappointed with our experience today. My vegetarian lasagne was covered in sauce but no vegetables! The sheets were just stuck together with a green paste which is not what I expect when paying £19.00. One of the starters ordered was garlic bread, came burnt at the base. We alerted the staff and they were embarrassed and took it away. This

Stopped in for lunch at Rossini and was absolutely delighted by the veal Milanese—the loveliest I’ve ever had! Crispy, tender, and so fresh. The roasted potatoes were good. I wasn’t too keen on the steamed veggies, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Looking forward to returning and trying more from the menu!
