Location was fantastic although parking can be a challenge even if booked to stay at the venue, although its free parking. Rooms are nice but unfortunately a little hot. Stayed here twice and in the stables both times. The food in the restaurant was nice, although did have an issue with my first meal but this was rectified with a new meal and the price adjusted on the receipt without any hesitation.

Stayed recently at the Manor Hotel as we were attending a funeral in Yeovil. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant was good with excellent service from the staff. We had a double room and a superior room, both were clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The water for the shower was not very hot in the superior room and the rooms do need a bit of tlc as mentioned in other reviews. Came here tonight for a meal for our anniversary, we pre booked our table. However once we we're seated, the waitress an older lady. Made us feel so unwelcomed and gave us the bare minimum service. We ate our mains, and she checked on us as we finished. Didn't clear our table, nor offer us desserts. Eventually we headed back the bar to pay.

We visited for a manager’s meal with a group of five. The highlight of the evening was our server, she did a brilliant job looking after around ten tables all by herself. Her service was attentive and hardworking, and she truly did the best she could. Unfortunately, the overall food service was quite disappointing. We arrived around 6pm and weren’t seated for about 10 minutes. Our drinks and order were taken promptly, but the wait times that followed were far too long. Starters took around 10–15 minutes, mains arrived roughly 30 minutes after that, and dessert was delayed to the point where w
