Jessie Brockmann★★★★The staff were very helpful and kind. We had a couple of substitution requests that were all fulfilled with ease. The Weekend Sandwich was underwhelming, but the Caprese panini (which we added prosciutto to) was great, and so was the eggs Benedict. The space was very loud so you had to sort of yell to chat but that’s to be expected in a place so small and busy. It was a really hot summer day which made the inside very warm which was unfortunate but understandably hard to control. Their homemade orange juice was perfect and a good way to combat the heat!
T. D.★★Came here for breakfast and waited for service while the workers spent quite a while looking at their friend’s phone. When we were finally asked for our order, the waiter didn’t listen carefully and got it wrong. I don’t know how this cafe has better reviews than some other places. The food was just okay at best, and some of it was worse in both quality and taste. The menu is very limited. Maybe this type of food simply isn’t to our taste, but this breakfast for two was not worth the $40+ we paid for such a disappointment.
Sarah Nguyen★★★★★Weekend is the kind of breakfast spot that instantly puts you in a good mood—and then backs it up with seriously good food. The menu is a thoughtful, creative mix of classic American diner comfort and other ethnic-inspired specialties. It’s broad and varied without being overwhelming, and every dish feels intentional. You’ll find standout items like shakshuka, soufflé pancakes, a hash brown breakfast sandwich, egg-in-a-hole, and unique drinks like a matcha einspänner that you don’t see everywhere. The food itself is absolutely delicious—diner-style at heart, but elevated with flavor, texture
Danny Hernandez★★★★★This place is worth every penny (and trust me, the menu prices are among the cheapest I’ve found in Boston so far). We had the Beef Cheesesteak panini and omelette, a salad with smoke salmon, and the very berry mascarpone frenchtoast. Everything was absolutely delicious and came out HOT. My chai latte with a shot of espresso was so yummy. Only complaint was that the coffees could’ve been a lot hotter but other than that, stellar experience. Also, you will leave here smelling like the kitchen because it’s out in the open. If you’re averse to strong smells/prone to migraines, I’d be wary comin
