If I had ten days to spend in Ann Arbor, I would go to TeaHaus for every single one! I lived in Ann Arbor for a year and a half and going to TeaHaus with my friends was always a highlight of my week. The staff members are wonderful (especially Sung who is so kind!!). Chill place to try many different kinds of tea and small sweet treats ☺️ The staff were all really nice and welcoming. The hojicha macaron was great, and the summer romance iced tea was refreshing. It’s a cute place to hang out with friends. No laptops allowed, so it’s not the place for studying/doing work. There are board/card games to enjoy.

They do such an amazing job at cultivating an environment focused on real-life connections (which is why I love the no-laptop rule). I just found out you can resteep your tea order, which makes so much sense. I have a lot of tea at home so I don’t order their tea that often, but I like them whenever I do. I’m always on the look out for new flavors of cakes and macarons. I feel like macaron’s flavors change roughly every month, but cakes are hard to predict. For a tea place, I really wish they have more tea flavor desserts. Of all the sweets I’ve had from them, I love their hojicha cake and hazelnut crepe cake the most.
