Very nice mom and pop vibe. Super cozy and traditional. Best Japanese food I’ve had in Arizona. Flavors were authentic with plenty of different options, and very friendly staff. Pan fried Gyoza were outstanding, tender on top with a slight crispy bottom, and the sauce was not too salty which I really liked. We got the teriyaki chicken as a side and it was tender and juicy and the sauce was AMAZING! What a gem. No frills, authentic Japanese food, and I was just there a couple months ago. Wish I could have tried everything on the menu! Lightest tastiest teriyaki sauce, and the fried tofu was not to be missed. Chatted with two locals while there who both raved about the place. Would definitely go back!

Spent $50, got very little food. Wanted some to-go sushi, stopped in here with my wife to get some rolls. The food was good, service was okay, but the portion size for the price is disappointing. These are half rolls, at best, charged at full price.. We won't be going back to this location, I just can't justify paying $50 for such a small amount of food.
