The food was delicious. I got the haddock and chips (fries), my boyfriend got the bangers and mash. The haddock was so tender and almost fluffy, not heavy at all with grease. The bangers (polish sausage) was flavorful, especially with wonderfully caramelized onions on the side. Derek and JJ were very helpful with explaining the menu and giving recommendations for us newbies. They also generously offered 10% off when we went back to order seconds (the fried squid - which was AMAZING, I didn't know that squid could be so un-rubbery!) because it was our first time there. The atmosphere is rustic

The quality here went down drastically.Completely disappointed in our order. We ordered 2 family cod meals . Keep in mind that would be intended to serve 4-6 people each meal. Barely any fries, the two tarter sauces were a joke. Both couldn’t fill one container and yet for a family. Fish was soggy after DoorDash delivery but even with the drive you could tell the crispy quality we have received was not there at all. Family Meals are not worth the cost for the quantity and quality received

Haddock, pollock, and combo seafood are all good. Sausage rolls are wrapped in something like puff pastry, maybe it's not super authentic but the airy and flaky texture is fun. Beef and onion meat pie was decent but we probably wouldn't get it again. Regular price is on the higher side but feels worth it, plus they have a great happy hour and daily specials. Staff is friendly!

An excellent experience all around 🤤. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivered. I took my order togo and drove about 30 minutes home, yet the fish 🐠 and prawns 🍤 were still impressively crispy and fresh when I sat down to eat. That alone says a lot about the kitchen’s quality and preparation. A fantastic spot to keep in mind during Lent definitely be returning.
