This is a wonderful Mom & Pop diner with comfort food, delicious breakfasts and some Mexican American food options. It's in an older, slightly outdated building. Don't let that stop you! It's older, but clean, friendly staff, ample seating, and lots of options for tasty dishes. Pricing is reasonable. Great coffee. Had the steak omelet this past weekend with American cheese, cooked onions and peppers. Served with their own house-made hashbrowns that are extremely tasty. Were in town for a soccer tournament and a lot of restaurants weren’t open until 11am. So we decided to have breakfast here based on the reviews. We didn’t realized that they serve American/Mexican food. We had a party of 10 arriving around 10:30am. The place was not busy and We were seated right away. Service was so slow! I stopped in this little place where I had never been before just trying to find a good place that was different from my usual menu. When I walked in there were only 2 tables seated so they were not busy at all. I was a little confused because I wasn't sure if I was supposed to seat myself or wait on a hostess to seat me. I waited for a few minutes before I was seated, I was brought a menu pretty quickly and my drink order was taken. When my drink arrived in ample time, I placed my food order. The food was prompt on coming out and was pretty good to be a small place in the middle of Asheboro.

My first time going today, the parking lot was pretty full but there was still plenty of seating. As soon as we walked in you can smell pancakes and waffles, which was a good sign. We were seated immediately to a clean table and got our drinks shorty after. The menu has a lot of different options to choose from. I chose breakfast and my fiancé ordered lunch. I got the chorizo/jalapeño/onion omelette which came with a choice of 2 sides AND a choice of pancakes or toast… for $8.99, pretty good deal to me because I took home plenty of leftovers.
