I had a great time at Little Bear tonight. I ordered a whiskey sour with an egg white, my favorite cocktail, and they executed it perfectly. I have a lot of allergies, which usually makes it hard to dine out, but they were so accommodating and recommended the trout, which was absolutely delicious. The rice side alongside the perfectly cooked fish was so perfect for a small meal this evening. If you’re dining out alone, I definitely suggest getting more than one plate as these tend to be smaller portions, but because I was looking for more of a snack, so this was delightful. Very innovative food ideas, but maybe too innovative! Since I have a hard time telling what the food will taste like based on the description (since there are so many interesting ingredients)! Small plates so the server mentioned we needed to order 2.5 per person to have a satisfying meal. Some bites were better than others! Pretty delivery and good service.

If I could give this a 3.5, I would. I like the innovative nature of the restaurant and meshing of cuisines. From the small plate view, this is not a place to go to stock up on food and get full. We didn't get the XL meat due to people in our party not eating pork. We were quite excited to come here as we have heard wonderful things, but the menu didn't live up to our expectations. Going through the reviews, people either love this place or think it is interesting and fair. I am in the latter group. The XL meat option was AMAZING! Fried pork belly with sweet potatoes and salad. It was such a great combo of comfort food yet stylish looking and idk what vinaigrette the salad had but it was so light and yummy. We were hoping to meet Diego, the new owner's doggie but maybe he doesn't make appearances? We forgot to ask. It was nice to see so much art about the doggies throughout the restaurant, and the doggie soap dispenser in the bathroom was the cherry on top. We came here on a Sunday night so parking wasn't too difficult. Drinks were excellent as well!
