A comfortable space for you to play board games with your friends in Brooklyn. Next Move Cafe offers a wide range of bubble tea and snacks, as well as, a huge library of board games. Although their library of board games is huge, they neatly label and organize them into different sections. I do not know the criteria of their sorting, but it does make it easy for us to find board games to play. Incredibly fun experience here!! The owners and staff have so much passion for board games here, and they love to share that passion with others! If you want to try a new game, but don't necessary want to read the rules, no worries. Some of the staff can teach the table. I've also joined a tourament here, and both JJ and Sandy were such amazing hosts!! They also host party events. And for less crowds, good to come on a weekday. Quite a few board game cafes have popped up in NYC, but I definitely enjoy this place and its people the most!

Came with a party of five on a Sunday afternoon and there weren’t many people, which was great for us. They have a lot of games available to play so we were able to try some new games. Admission fee is only $12 for 3 whole hours on Fridays - Sundays. $10 on Mondays - Thursdays so price is really cheap compared to other board game cafes. We played this category game called Tapple that was really fun. There’s also a card game called taco cat goat cheese pizza that’s super simple to play and is really similar to slap jack. It is decent for $10-12 admission for 3 hours of game time. The atmosphere is relaxing and quite spacious. The booth can fit 6 people. And there is also a large room that is great for role-playing game with some privacy. Ordered some teas, seaweed fries, and fried chicken wings. Food and drinks are decent but portion is not huge if you are sharing between 4 people. Overall, this is a great place if you love to play boardgames with friends but don’t have the space in the city.
