Still the best place to enjoy that fresh California vegetarian burrito and crispy fish tacos. They're doing specials (but one beer, get a second for free!) and have two TVs 📺 📺 for the world cup! People complain about the price but one is paying for the excellence, the freshness, the amazing and delicious array of salsa at the salsa bar. My opinion 😉 to me, I'm okay with enjoying an excellent meal for maybe $4-5 more but you're getting such high quality. It's worth it! It all rounds out to be about the same anyway with what's included. 👍🏼

Decent Mexican food in downtown Berkeley. There isn't table service here. You order at the counter and pick up your food. You also have to bus your own tables. Despite all I felt the food is a bit in the expensive side for Mexican food. However, the portions are large. I ordered guacamole with chips as an appetizer and we received a very generous amount of guacamole!

We had a delicious burrito and chips and a margarita to share. All of it was great! The chips and the salsa of course are the star of the show. We officially like the pumpkin seed salsa. The burrito was the mole burrito, perhaps the one thing I would suggest for improvement is the amount of meat in there. The atmosphere of course is really beautiful.

Fast, friendly and personable staff. You do wait your own table, but it is worth the delicious homemade Mexican food. The Al pastor nachos are 10/10.
